M4M 005 : 3 Powerful And Essential Media Formats Your Content Should Be Using

Finally folks I’ve been able to put a new podcast show out, my sincere apologies for the long delay, I do have a GOOD excuse though :) In the 5th episode of the Magnet4Marketing online business and blogging tips podcast:

I share with you 3 other powerful and essential media formats your content should be making use of. When it comes to content marketing you simply can’t just be a ‘one trick pony’ in this competitive world. You need to make use of other plentiful media platforms to help you reach out to new audiences, get more traffic and put more eyes in front of your brand, your products and services.

In addition to creating conventional ‘written and image based content’ we look at the following media formats your content should make use of -

  1. Video media (YouTube, Vimeo, Flickr)
  2. Slides and presentations
  3. Podcasting and audio media

Make use of these powerful media formats and incorporate them into your content marketing strategy today and you’ll simply win! YouTube is the second biggest search engine on the web, so video marketing is a must. iTunes is also a massive search engine, so hosting your own podcast show means you’re putting your content in front of a greater audience. And then there’s the growing popularity of SlideShare, with more than 130,000,000 views per month!

Tune in to the show for more information… If you wish to download the show you can here.

    Hey Fabrizio,

I am currently exploring the YouTube and its massive community :) For podcasting you just need to add audio. Great to see you have listed all tools needed for it . Do submit your podcast to all top directories and it will get you more exposure for sure.

All the best for the new podcasting

Hi Suresh, yes YouTube is an awesome community I have to agree, and I’m going to try and make time to make better use of it with a few more videos. Glad you enjoyed the show mate and I have it on my ‘to do’ list to submit the podcast to directories. Thanks for visiting my friend :)

    Hi Fabrizio!

I can certainly understand that you have been taking care of your family and making them a priority. With that said, it’s great that they are asleep or out of the house and you got a chance to get on the mic. I really like the encouragement that you are giving to your fellow bloggers to get out of their comfort zone and start experimenting with other formats for content marketing.

SlideShare is a beast!! I love it. Of course YouTube and Podcasting are near and dear to my heart too.

Thanks for the episode and the post!

Hi Ileane, thanks for checking out the show, I’m honored and nervous at the same time lol I hope it was listenable and educational too. Yes family time always comes first but once the little munchkins are napping or it’s bed time, it’s my time to work for a few hours and I love it. I saw your SlideShare tutorial presentation for Google Analytics which was quite cool, I’m really looking forward to making use of SlideShare in the very near future, I just need to come up with something original lol.

You’ll be just fine! Just do something simple to get started over there. It’s a lot like podcasting where you will be introduced to a whole new audience so anything you do will seem “original”. I know you have seen Ana’s work but you also should check out Jane Sheeba’s profile. She is knocking it out of the park just like Ana!

    Hey Fabrizio,

Combining written, visual and audio format gives a higher chance of success in online marking. There’s no doubt about that, but the problem is, I guess, not every time you can do such a task at once since its very time consuming. But nevertheless, these tips you just gave is very helpful. I will try to explore on GoAnimate video maker since its new to me and the fact that its an animation. Thanks for sharing these very helpful tips.
