Blogging is the ultimate past-time turned into a profitable business model for many people.
With so many free and premium productivity tools and resources available online, anyone can quite literally start a professional blog and begin blogging about what ever it is that takes their fancy, be it knitting or spelunking.
But foremost, blogging has helped many people not just to build a career out of, but also helped them to network and connect with other like minded individuals in their industry, build an online reputation, increase their online productivity, improve their professional portfolio and much more.
For me blogging has almost become somewhat of an addiction, I see it as a fun business model and one that I’m constantly working at to make more profitable, doing what ever it takes and putting what ever time I can and need into it, but not everyone has the same motives.
Some people blog for other reasons, in fact not everyone wants to make money from blogging although sometimes it’s hard to believe that. Some people enjoy blogging to help them connect with other like minded people online, perhaps on the weekends.
Anyways this post is just for a bit of fun really, and another opportunity for me to be able to engage with you and find out more about you and your blogging ambitions. So I ask you the inevitable question -
What are your motivations for blogging. Why do you blog?
Is it…
A) To make money and build a profitable business from?
B) To build online reputation (fame) and or improve a CV or professional portfolio?
C) To promote your existing online business
D) To network with others and build new connections online?
E) Just for a bit of fun?
What ever your motivations for blogging are, let me know your reasons by selecting A, B, C, D or E and leave me a comment below as always. Don’t forget to share this post on Facebook, Twitter and Google+
Enjoy the weekend folks
