There Is Not Just One Solution
Network marketing is not a new industry. Yet the key on how to become a successful network marketing leader is still not a much known strategy.
Perhaps there really is no single formula to becoming one of the best network marketers on the planet. Nonetheless, wouldn’t it be just futile to jump into a networking business without any hint of how you can succeed on it?
There is a plethora of networking tips out there and they are good, great actually. You can take them and apply to your business and it will make things a lot easier for you. However, not all tips and techniques advised by others would work well for you. The point is, it could work for you but not so much for others; or, it could be really effective for others but not so much for you. I am sure you’re quite getting the idea here.
To become a successful leader in network marketing, you have to go out there and find which method would work best for you.
Now there are classic networking business tips that have already been tried and tested. These are the ones that would most likely work for you too. These would surely come in handy if you are already short of time and patience and would really want to succeed in networking right away. All you have to do is duplicate the process.
This doesn’t mean though that you are going to become a robot by just auto-copying everything that are being done by your up-lines and mentors. You also have to add your own input, your own creativity in doing the business. If it works for you, then – why not? Don’t be close-minded. Think outside the box. You want to maximize all your efforts so you also get the best results and become the best network marketing leader in your group.
If everyone is doing the same thing in networking, then how do you think you will stand out from the rest of all the network marketers out there? You have to get ahead in your game. Apply the classic strategies and add your own unique tricks. And this is a two-way process.
First, you have to be knowledgeable about the standards or models of becoming a great network marketer. These are taught in network marketing trainings, so make sure you attend them.
Second, you have to know yourself. The number one factor in becoming a great network marketing leader is that you should always have that – drive. Now this is a classic model, BUT there is not just one formula for this.
Other persons would use a different equation but still arrive at the same answer to the problem. Every person is driven by different kinds of motivation. You have to know what especially drives you. Know your goals, your personal goals. You have to have goals and reasons why you are doing this business. It don’t have to be the same as other network marketers’.
The important thing is to always have a goal, then focus on it. Don’t be sidetracked by discouragements. You have to find your own ways of effectively concentrating on your goals. This is how your own unique personality could help you shine through to becoming the best in this profession.
Personality Development Means Professional Success in Becoming a Successful Network Marketing Leader
It is a common misconception that if you have an introvert personality and if you are not particularly the resilient type, then you can never become a successful network marketing leader.
This is absolutely wrong (and discriminating). Yes, networking requires some people-person skills and lots of resiliency but you can still make things work even if you are an introverted type or not particularly resilient. Introverts are known to be very resilient people, and they can use that asset in networking. Extroverts are very good in communicating with people, and this also works great with networking.
This doesn’t mean, though that introverts who are not too comfortable speaking with prospective down lines, and that extroverts who are not particularly resilient to disappointments and rejections –
should altogether quit from the networking business. The main point rather is, if you are weak in the social department, then this might not be for you unless – you work on that specific area of personality. And, if you are the kind of person who gets discouraged easily, then you should also improve in that area first before you can make it big in this industry.
We are not all straight A’s in life. But if you know within yourself that you are more inclined to be an F in one area of your personality, then you only have to make an extra effort to improve on it until you get at least a passing C or a B. You really don’t have to be an A in it if it is not your forte, if it is not your typical personality. It would still be good enough, trust me.
What you should do instead is to take your best characteristics or your ‘A-traits’, and make the most out of it in becoming the best network marketing leader in your team. Use your assets. You will still pass the networking subject even if you have a few C’s here and there but the important thing is to maintain your A’s. You should never have an F, though. You must work on it.
The key to becoming successful in life, no matter what your profession is, no matter what your personality is, is that you have to be the best of whoever you are.
This is especially true if you are in the networking business. You always have to take your best foot forward.
When I was still in my teens, I would wonder what course I should take in college. I would often ask my dad which course he thinks would be easy (the best) for me, but his reply would always be – “There are NO easy courses in college. No matter what course, you have to study really well in order to pass.” – Same with success – same in becoming a great network marketing leader. You simply have to be your best self in your chosen league.
