Ecommerce SEO Case Study: Getting Onto Page One of Google – Month One

Ecommerce SEO Case Study: Follow me on my keyword ranking journey to success… One of the biggest challenges any ecommerce business faces is getting traffic and in particular ranking higher for desired keywords. This is something I’m too familiar with, particularly for my own ecommerce website in art.

Over the next 3 or 4 months I’m going to share with you a challenge that I’ve set myself for my online art website, I want to share with you my ecommerce SEO case study. I want to rank higher in the search engines, particularly Google, for the keyword: canvas art, which I’m currently sat on page 4 in the Google search results.

At the moment my aim is to reach page one of the search results, and as you will see from the keyword tool analysis, competition is pretty high so I have my work cut out.

Each month I will report back with what I’ve done and the progress I’ve made in my ecommerce SEO case study, along with some statistics, so keep a close eye.

In the next post which will be on 15th of April, I hope to be able to share with you an increased ranking and like I said, as well as outlining what I did to reach what ever ranking that awaits me.

I’m positive that I can achieve this goal, a while back I achieved the goal of getting to the top of Google for the keyword blog traffic tips, where I enjoyed a few weeks of top spot before being knocked off, it’s a dog-eat-dog world but it was worth it. In the meantime, stay tuned my friends – Fabrizio

This is going to be a very interesting study for all of us… especially since you will be posting what you did each month to push your site up the rankings. I will definitely be following this as it unfolds. It’s not that often that you can get a glimpse into the specific methods that work to improve ranking. Everywhere you go you hear “build quality links”, bookmark this, submit articles to that… etc. I’m looking forward to the real details.
