3 Ways to Reward your Loyal Customers

Attracting new customers to your business can be a time consuming task, such as using effective demographic advertising, finding the best kinds of promotions to use, using email marketing, hosting trade show etc. Sometimes you can become so caught up in the process of chasing new business leads that you almost forget about the customers that are loyal to you.

Today I’d like to share with you 3 tactical ways in which you can reward you loyal consumers and promote further business with them.

Gift Vouchers & Money off Coupons

These work as great incentives as a ‘thank you’ to your loyal customers and help promote further business. There are no real expensive initial overheads and you can send gift vouchers and money off coupons using emails or perhaps even do conventional mailing shot.

Create a Loyalty Points Scheme

Many companies and businesses are offering points schemes where customers can make a purchase and receive loyalty reward points of some form for each of their purchase. The points can then be redeemed against other goods purchased, promoting further business for them. This is something you might also like to consider doing to reward both your loyal customers and promote further business throughout.

Offer Membership Only Privileges

This is another great way to reward your loyal customers and encourage repeat business. By giving your customers access to a membership account of some form, you can reward them each time they log in, or each time they make a purchase on their accounts, or where they can simply have access to their rewards easily. You could even structure a ‘special members only’ price on certain products and services, that’s always a good one to use.

What ever your line of business, consider the three tactics above and whilst you’re busy trying to promote yourself for new business leads, don’t forget your existing and loyal customers and to reward them generously.

  1. I have been looking for things to do for Customers such as reward points or gifts. I have not been creative enough to come up with any good ideas. I keep looking for something that I could give away from a different website perhaps. Have you ever seen or heard of any such websites that you can direct Customers for say signing up for your blog?

  2. Loyalty programs are very effective. Most of the time I prefer gift vouchers and coupons, its not a new technique but old is gold :) Those who run business should try new ways to keep the loyal customers coming back to spend for more.
