Have you lost your passion for blogging? – Being passionate about anything in life requires reason. One of the biggest things that drive passion in us as human beings is inspiration. If something inspires us enough, we grow passionate about that something.

Blogging is no exception. We’re inspired by writing about the subjects we love, and inspired by how other bloggers have made a success in blogging, and inevitably when we’re starting out for the first time, we want to achieve the same thing, success.

But from time to time we all lose a little of that passion along the way, we become less interested and the majority of us unfortunately loose all that ‘get-up-and-go’ spark entirely.

What leads many people to loose passion in blogging can be a variety of things, most of the time I find that bloggers loose interest in the first 3 to 6 months of blogging because they become bored. They see slow to no results for the sheer amount of work they have to put in, and granted this can be a real test, and so therefore many new bloggers become somewhat uninspired to continue.

Let’s begin with some tips to inspire you…

Blog Passion Tip#1 – Take a Break

Today’s piece of advice is to take a break, forget blogging entirely and go do something else. In fact if at all possible take a well deserved holiday, even if it’s just a short weekend away somewhere, to escape to. If you’re not able to do this, ensure that you do other things to keep you away from blogging for at lease 3 to 4 days, if you can stretch to a week even better.

Clearing the mind is something I’ve found extremely useful; particularly when I feel that I’m running out of steam with blogging and running my other online businesses in general. When this happens I get in the car, surfboard and sleeping bag in the back and head for the coast for a few days with some friends.

Of course you don’t have to get away anywhere, just as long as you take a break, recharge those batteries, spend time with family and friends and think nothing about blogging.

Over the next few weeks or so we’ll be taking a look at some more very useful, inspiring and practical ways in which to re-ignite your passion for blogging. If you’re in need of some real moral lift then I suggest you stick around or subscribe to our RSS to be kept updated with our inspiring tips.

Even if you’re not a newbie, perhaps you’ve been blogging for a few years but feel that you’re heading towards a wall, or have been out of action and want to get passion back into your blogging; our inspirational tips can help you too. Watch this space.

Great tips Fabrizio, yes I definitely agree that a break is well in order, it helps to reflect on what you’ve done and what you’d like to change. For me I also find that taking a break from blogging helps me to become more creative as well.
