What Does Your Typical Blogging Day Consist Of!

by Fabrizio Van Marciano on April 4, 2011

Desktop ComputerToday, instead of babbling on about something useful – I thought I’d share with you the typical happenings of a day in the life of my blogging life.

On a typical week day I’ll wake up at around 8am but recently with the daylight hours having changed here in the UK I’ve been struggling to make it out before 9am.

I’ll get the kettle on being a typical Englishman and switch on the computer and the laptop and also make sure that Sky News is also greeting me.

After a hot shower I’ll normally take a full English breakfast and fresh coffee to the table whilst watching the news, and so I’ll normally get to the desk at around 9am.

First tasks are to check the stats and ensure the blogs are running with no downtime. I’ll then check emails and check for new comments on any of the blogs, by which then I’m fully awake and so I’ll begin writing a post.

I normally finish the morning tasks at around 11am and before lunch I’ll check the surf report and if it’s on I’ll hit the waves for a few hours. If not I’ll normally get some work done for my online art business.

At around 2pm after an extended lunch break it’s back at the desk to check stats, check emails, check comments, write another post and generally do some blog marketing and promotional work.

I normally ensure that I finish by typical day at around 5pm and turn everything off! After 5pm it’s play time so perhaps another surf, they gym maybe or a walk on the beach before my evening meal with the girlfriend.

What does your typical blogging day consist of; briefly share your day’s events in the comments section below.
