In this post I’m going to provide you with a downloadable guide that contains more than 100 tips and ideas for getting traffic to your blog, using my 101 Blog Traffic Tips guide.
The internet is changing fast, the way we absorb content on the web is changing and this is largely thanks to the hundreds of thousands of great blogs out there, blogs in all types of niches and industries. Did you know that there are more than 120,000 new blogs created every day? Check out this Infographic.
The single biggest challenge many bloggers face when starting out on their blogging journey is getting traffic and getting readers to their content. Building an audience is essential for the survival of any blog. Getting traffic 5 or 6 years ago was relatively easy; doing SEO was once simple and could produce results reasonably fast.
But since then the internet has grown, and with the prominent arrival and huge impact of social media, new changes are being made to how we do SEO, and as Google continues to make changes to it’s search algorithms, the way we continue to do SEO will continue to change…
Getting traffic to your blog will become much more dependent on our engagement with new SEO practices and of course our engagement with social media.
Needless to say, I strongly believe that generating traffic growth to your blog is about being everywhere, Facebook won’t do it alone, Twitter won’t do it alone. RSS subscribers is simply not enough… SEO can only be affective if you and your blog is everywhere.
101 Blog Traffic Tips for your Blog
I would like now to bring to your attention a free eBook that I have placed together called the 101 Blog Traffic tips guide.
I created this guide so that beginners and intermediate bloggers also, could use to find new ideas and discover new avenues in which to get traffic to their blogs.
My guide contains 40-pages (Revised January 2012) of top tips and suggestions from optimizing your blog’s theme, finding a reliable web host, on-page SEO to my top 10 blogging tips and over 140 sources to get traffic to your blog from.
I have made using this guide as simple as I could, I’ve simply added over 100 potential web traffic sources and resourceful sites where you can get traffic, find new readers, and gain high quality backlinks and improve your search engine ranking.
Who is this eBook really for?
As I mentioned I created this guide for newbies and intermediate bloggers, but essentially anyone can use it.
Do these tips, ideas and traffic sources really work?
Of course, why would I be telling you otherwise? However like anything in life there is an if… None of the tips and ideas in this guide will actually work if you’re not 101% committed to building traffic to your blog and building an audience. That means if you don’t use them effectively they won’t work. I’ll give you an example: Anyone can get on YouTube, whack up a few videos and Bob’s your uncle… but if you take time to develop your videos properly, create a YouTube channel for new traffic and give your readers the kind of content they want to watch and subscribe to, it will work…
I’ve used all of the tips found in this guide to generate over 600 unique visitors to my blog each day, and whilst the changes being made to SEO continue, traffic is continuing to grow steadily regardless. In just 12 months of starting my blog I’ve taken my blog from 0 to 600 visitors a day, and I know you can do the same.
How do I get a copy of 101 Blog Traffic Tips?
This is a free guide which I’m giving away to you and our readers and visitors, all you have to do to get a copy is signup to my monthly email newsletter, which itself is packed with lots of useful tips and ideas on how to blog and get traffic to your blog amongst tons of other great online business and marketing ideas.
I make an effort to revise the guide periodically and a newly revised copy is due out on the 1st July 2012. However if you’ve subscribed to my eBook and downloaded it already, you’ll automatically receive a link to the new revised copy when it becomes available.
