5 Tips to Promoting Repeat Customers to your Business!


Take a look back at your recent sales history and ask yourself this, could you have generated more repeat sales from your existing customers over the last 12 months or so.

Whilst running through my annual chores of filing tax returns I noticed that the number of repeat customers I’ve had this year was far greater than the previous year. I should hardly be surprised as this year we took a completely different approach to marketing and pushing out more informative and valuable newsletters to our members as well as a host of other promotional methods.

In this post I’d like to share with your some top tips in which you can use to enhance your repeat in business from your existing or previous customers if you like.

1. Offer Email Newsletter Subscription

Let’s start with the most obvious and one which can ultimately be the most effective of them all and that’s offering a newsletter subscription service to both your visitors and to your customers during checkout.

2. Mail out a Printed Newsletter

Most people underestimate the effectiveness of regular printed newsletters. One of the best things about mailing printed newsletters is that it can be shared to other people that might be interested in your products and services. People can take them into work and show around to their colleagues or others may stumble upon it out of interest.

3. Good Customer Service

If you work towards providing a good customer service then you automatically enhance your repeat business potential. Word of mouth will also get round and in turn bring you new customers as well as repeat ones.

4. Loyalty Offers

Learn to reward your loyal customers who have made repeat purchases from you before. Loyalty offers can be a in the form of a special and exclusive discount or a special gift.

5. Account Credit

This is probably not the most viable option for most small businesses however if you can offer an account credit facility to your repeat customers than this is also a great way to get more repeat business in itself.
