Blogging: What’s your Frequency?

To most people blogging is about writing a daily or weekly report of events and thoughts down in an online diary. To the more serious blogger the more content you create the more readers you will attract right? So as we know it without quality content no one is going to read our blogs, hence no ads, no traffic, no clicks, no money.

But really how much blogging is really enough? What’s your blogging frequency?

In the first few months of my new blogging venture I hammered out something like 60 posts in the first month and then 50 posts again in the second. The last few months I’ve trimmed that number down to around 30 and ideally I’d like keep it at around that rate.

One; because I have other commitments with my online art business and two; I believe that if anyone wants to create quality, imaginative and interesting content they should try and avoid churning out relentless crap.

Just because some other blogger the other side of the globe is doing it, it doesn’t mean you have to do the same. I speak for myself on this matter however one post per day works safe for me.

But what about others, how do you look at the subject matter? Do you push out multiple blog posts per day or do you blog a few times a week if that? Let us know your thoughts and share your frequency and beliefs with others.
