5 Reasons Why Quitting Sucks in Internet Business Marketing!

So you think you’ve done all you can to promote your online business, you’ve tried all the tips and tricks in the book, read all the articles you can lay your eyes on, dabbled with SEO, SEM and all the other promising traffic driving methods there is out there! You’ve waited for ages and still no one is coming to your website.

Welcome to the world of internet business marketing.

Many people feel like quitting simply because of how slow the results can be in comparison to how much effort you have to put into marketing your business. Nevertheless quitting should not be an option, if anything quitting sucks and here are 5 reasons why.

1. You quit now you’ll never know: I hate the thought of sitting somewhere in a retirement home thinking to myself what if? This is probably the worst scenario for me but having that fear spurs me on to want to succeed.

2. Quitting is the easiest option: Quitting is of course the easiest option, if you’re finding it hard to get results from your marketing tactics then something isn’t working and you need to change the way you do things. Don’t waste your energy, time and money on something that returns little reward, instead of quitting, make changes.

3. Do you really want to be known as a quitter? I don’t know about you but I’d hate to have the title as ‘the quitter’. Of course not too many people are going to know that you’re a quitter, only yourself, and to have that on you conscience is bad enough.

4. Quitting now will only make it easier for you to quit at everything else that you do: If you make quitting a thing of regularity then you will without a shadow of a doubt carry it forward in everything else that you do in life.

5. Quitting brings you down: I won’t lie even I have thought about quitting at some of the things I’ve done or achieved in life, such as trying to become a successful artist. In fact there are several things in my personal life which I’ve quitted on, and it isn’t a good feeling, trust me on this one.

In life as in business, it’s far better to stop whatever it is you’re doing and reassess the situation in which you are doing things. Make small or big changes, if one marketing method doesn’t work then get rid of it. Also instead of making a meal of 10 marketing methods where only 3 of them are getting you results then concentrate your efforts on just the three that is working and get rid of the unproductive 7.

I agree, perhaps better option to quitting is re-evaluating what you are doing and giving it a fresh start. While there are undoubtedly some quick successes – most people will see result only after consistently trying.
