Make 2011 a Better Organised Year for your Business!

So we’re in a brand new-year and with another opportunity to make the most out of your business plans for the 12 months ahead. But stop, before you head off into the dream world that you would normally ponder into, think about this. Could last year have been a more productive year had you planned it better?

I had a quick look around my desk and generally around the house for that fact, and picked up over one-hundred post-it notes randomly stuck here, there and everywhere with small messages written on them.

What’s my point? Well one of my new-year’s resolutions is to make more use of my work diary and to organise my working week a lot better than I did last year. If you find yourself in a similar situation then take note of this and do the same.

Ok so to make your 2011 a better organised year for your business means getting hold of some tools for the job. Here’s a small affordable shopping list with a few things for you to go out and get.

1 white board

1 white board marker

1 2011 diary if you haven’t already got one.

1 clipboard

1 paper bin

Now ensure that you make good use of these tools and less of the post-it notes. If you find yourself using post-it notes a little less often get into the habit of using them for quick notes only, then bin them.

Being more organised will mean that you will have a greater chance to be more productive and gain results faster than you normally would. It can also make you feel a lot more motivated about yourself, your business and the goals you want to achieve in 2011. Good luck.
