25 Blog Optimising Tips for Affective Marketing!

Before you get caught up in the formal aspects of marketing your blog i.e. with article writing, link building, directory submission, advertising etc you first need to assess the optimisation of the blog itself. There is no point marketing a blog if it’s a half job. No marketing antic is going to substitute for a shabby blog still under construction.

So in all its glory, here are 25 blog optimising suggestions for you to sink your weary teeth into before you dive head first opening the doors to your blog to the public.

1. Use a well respected blogging platform such as WordPress, Joomla, Vivvo or Moveable Type.

2. Purchase and use a unique SEO friendly domain name title.

3. Use a fully customisable search engine optimised theme framework and theme such as Genesis Framework or Thesis for WordPress.

4. Ensure that you have commenting, trackback and pingback enabled.
