Are you struggling to build your email marketing list? Have you exhausted all the methods under the sun, wasted your money on promising Clickbank products and have gotten nowhere? Well you’re not alone; we all could do with a few extra thousand emails in our list. Here are some tactical suggestions to get you started.
Submit your RSS to RSS Directories
Submit your RSS URL to as many RSS directories as you can, it’s time consuming, boring and tedious but worth it! Check out Top Rank Blog’s comprehensive list of directories to submit to.
Add Opt-in Form to Blog Posts
We’ve mentioned this one on a few occasions. Add your email marketing opt-in form at the end of your blogs posts, when readers have finished reading your articles, they can sign up for future email updates using the form.
Add Opt-in Form to Facebook Landing Page
Another one we’ve mentioned before time and time again; use your Facebook fan page to create a landing page that will have your email opt-in form on. Offer an incentive for signing up such as a free online gift.
Tweet your Opt-in Page
If you have a dedicated email opt-in page on your blog or website why not add a Tweet / Retweet button to it. Visitors can regularly tweet your opt-in page and potentially share it with thousands of other Twitter users. You should also evaluate to see when the peak times are and start retweeting your opt-in page too.
Share using Facebook
Same method as above, add a Share on Facebook button to your opt-in page and let your visitors signup and share the page with their friends and so on.
Ok that’s all I have for you for now, we’ll give you an update should any arise in the future. In the meantime here are some related posts worth reading on:
