New Google AdSense Interface!

Google Adsense 2 The Google AdSense dashboard has been well overdue a major overhaul, and after some sneaky BETA previews over the last few months or so, the new Google AdSense interface is now finally available for everyone. Everyone with a Google AdSense account that is. Let’s take a closer look.

The Home Dashboard overview displays the last 7 days performance history as default. You now can see your estimated unpaid amount below the current days estimated earnings which are is handy to have since they’ve done away with the ability to view the ‘Overall’ amount option. In the left hand sidebar your options are page access to payments, messages, account settings and resources.

On the My Ads tab you can now access full content of your live ads within a single click, check custom channels in both feeds and search.

More noticeable is the Allow & Block Ads tab which displays your editable blocking options from Advertiser URL’s, Sensitive Categories and Ad Networks, you can also access the advance settings on this page should you want to access or change the Interest Based Ads Preference which displays ads based on your user’ interest or the Third Party Ads Preference.

Finally the Performance dashboard lets you track estimated earnings, ad unit impressions and queries, coverage, clicks, CPM, CPC and RPM. You can track all this in Custom Channels, URL Channels and Products.

In all, the new interface gives you more user data than ever before, and the ability to track this date more affectively. The more prominent improvement is the ability to have more control over ads appearing on your websites that conflict with your brand. In general I’m pretty pleased with the usability of the new interface with the added visual graphs and charts that allow me to assess, track and compare ad unit’s performance and easily make adjustments to follow trends affectively. Great work Google.
