Week Roundup | Getting to grips with WordPress!

Well it has been an interesting and exciting week here at the Magnet Camp. We’ve settled pretty well with the blog moving over from Moonfruit and we’ve been really busy writing some great informative posts both on the subject of business marketing and a few WordPress blogging tips as well.

Social Media Marketing

This week we looked at Growing your Facebook Fan Page numbers, and one of the interesting things I’ve got involved in is working with FPH ( and my case study has cost me $74.95 to invite 10,000 Facebook fans to join my fan page. I will be posting a post each week for the next 4 weeks with the progress and measuring how affective buying invites from FPH actually is, if you want to read the post or see my starting statistics then check it our here.

Ok as you know we’ve been bragging about our move from Moonfruit to WordPress and we’re real excited to be part of the WordPress revolution. In doing so we’ve reviewed some great WordPress features such as How to Set Up WordPress on your Smartphone!, Adding AdSense to your Church Child Theme WordPress Blog, 5 Steps to a Self-Hosted WordPress Blog! And of course How to Set Up WordPress on your Smartphone!. One of the most exciting finds for me this week was a WordPress plugin called Share & Follow and I’ve had the great privilege of producing a review on it.

What’s to come this week!

And so we’re all getting excited as yet another Christmas fast approaches and as well as blogging I’ve been so busy with my online art business. This week I’ll be taking a look the second part in creating an eBook and using it to promote email marketing subscriptions and driving traffic to your blog or website as well as this there will be posts on blogging tips and the importance of blogging for passion and not for money, well be taking a look at some useful Twitter marketing tips, online ecommerce service providers and using your mobile as a marketing tool for your business. So as per usual don’t for get to add our RSS to your newsreader or subscribe to our posts by email in the sidebar. Until next time, have a great week.
